Aurora Flow does not sell or share your health information. All the health data you log is stored locally on your device.
Aurora Flow stores the data you voluntarily enter: cycle dates, symptoms, mood, energy and personal notes. This health data stays on your device and is not sent to external servers, unless you enable Google Drive backup.
To understand how the app is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (for example, which screens are opened) through Google Analytics for Firebase. These statistics do not include your health data and are not linked to your identity. We do not show ads or sell data to third parties.
Google Drive backup is an optional feature available to premium subscribers. When enabled, your data is uploaded in encrypted form to your own Google Drive account — no data is accessible to the Aurora Flow team.
The health information you log in the app (menstrual cycle, symptoms, mood) is treated as sensitive data and handled with the utmost care. It is stored locally and only leaves your device if you enable backup.
The app may request access to your Google account solely for the Drive backup feature. This permission is optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
You can permanently delete all your data at any time in the app settings. Uninstalling the app also removes all local data from your device. If you enabled Google Drive backup, the backup files remain in your Drive account until you delete them manually.
